1 year on...

Today dates 1 year exactly since I started this blog!

A year ago today I didn't realise or at all foresee how helpful this blog would actually be! Its benefits have not just been in terms of staying on top of innovations in the field of neuroscience or in practising my writing ability but also, and more unexpectedly, the opportunities that have presented as a result of blogging. I've also been able to join the blogging group for Manchester and my university's blog society, and become a presenter on the student radio station Fuse FM. I also recently reached 5000 views - this might not sound like much to some, but it's something I never thought I'd be able to achieve!

Presenting on Fuse FM, which is partly thanks to starting this blog and you reading it!
A huge thank you also to everyone who has taken the time to read, like or comment on any of my blog posts. I'm still as interested as ever to learn more about the brain, and I hope that even just one of my posts may have inspired one of you reading this to feel the same way!

Let me know in the comments if there's anything you would like me to cover in my upcoming posts :)
